I’m hands-on and fully involved with my clients. When we work together, you’re not alone — I’ll

I don’t believe in theory without action. I believe in rolling up our sleeves, making progress daily,
and turning ideas into results. You can count on me to be available when you need me, to push
you forward when you hesitate, and to ensure we build something real — something that works. In
short, my approach is practical, results-driven, and people-centered. We move with purpose, we

Michael Gakwandi – Entrepreneur | Business Coach
Michael Gakwandi is a seasoned entrepreneur, dealmaker, and coach with over two decades of experience building and scaling businesses across Canada and East Africa. His journey began in London, Ontario, where he launched and operated multiple ventures—including a retail clothing store and a recyclable tire export business—gaining hands-on expertise in sales, customer engagement, and business development.
In 2010, Michael moved to Kigali, Rwanda, where he founded Century Real Estate. Under his leadership, the agency became the top real estate brokerage in the country within two years, transforming the market through structured systems, high-performance sales teams, and record-breaking property transactions. After more than a decade of leading major developments and guiding investors, he exited the company in 2020.
His later venture into the medical distribution industry brought both challenge and growth, strengthening his understanding of risk, resilience, and strategic positioning. In 2023, Michael returned to Canada and now leads Stride Coaching—a firm that supports new immigrants starting businesses, North American companies expanding into African markets, African businesses sourcing products or services from North America, and investors seeking real estate opportunities across East Africa.
Combining real sales expertise, cross-continental business knowledge, and a practical, hands-on coaching style, Michael helps entrepreneurs and organizations navigate new markets with clarity, confidence, and proven strategy.
